Chalk Ink Pads are Pigment Inks that give a soft chalk like finish, there are two main chalk inks available Tsukineko's VersaMagic and Clearsnaps Fluid Chalk, these are both fantastic pads that can be used together with great effect.

VersaMagic is a drier ink pad that lend itself to direct-to-paper techniques (a posh name for using the inkpad surface directly onto the surface your working on without using a stamp). Clearsnaps Fluid Chalk inks are far wetter and are great for using for stamping or providing shading awound the edges of your project, althoug we'd recommend using a sponge to lift the ink rather that using the ink directly onto the sheet.
